How to Sponsor and Contribute

General: 
The Onion Creek American Legion Post 326 conducts an annual Memorial Golf Tournament at the Onion Creek Club. This is a charity golf event and includes a Silent Auction. We are looking for business leaders and other benefactors to help sponsor and/or to donate to this charity event.

We had a very successful tournament last year and netted over $30,000 to continue supporting a variety of Veterans and Community projects.  Please see section on Charitable Projects. Please see our Brochure for additional details.

Sponsor/Contributor Benefits/Levels:
Our suggested Sponsor/Contributor Levels/Benefits are as follows. Both our Corporate/Platinum packages include a team plus other benefits. We have set aside eight team positions for our Corporate/Platinum Sponsors.

Corporate Sponsor $1,500 

  • Special Recognition in Players Handbook with Company Logo/Profile
  • Recognition in Tournament Brochure as Major Sponsor
  • Special Recognition at Awards Luncheon
  • Complementary F & B for Sponsor with Reserved Luncheon Table
  • Dedicated Banner and Dedicated Hole Signage with Logo
  • Company Provided Promotional Material at Hole and Luncheon Area
  • Foursome in Tournament with Reserved Parking for the Team
  • Reserved Area for Company Provided Promotional Booth (Hole #1/#10)
  • American Legion Recognition Award 
  • Round of Golf for Four at the Onion Creek Club (includes cart)

Platinum Sponsor $1,000

  • Recognition in Players Handbook with Company Logo
  • Recognition in Tournament Brochure as Major Sponsor
  • Recognition at Awards Luncheon
  • Complementary F & B for Sponsor with Reserved Luncheon Table
  • Shared Banner and Dedicated Hole Signage with Logo
  • Company Provided Promotional Material at Hole and Luncheon Area
  • Foursome in Tournament

Gold Sponsor/Contributor $500

  • Recognition in Players Handbook with Company Logo
  • Recognition in Tournament Brochure as Major Sponsor/Contributor
  • Recognition at Awards Luncheon
  • Shared Banner and Dedicated Hole or Contest Signage with Logo
  • Company Provided Promotional Material at Hole and Luncheon Area

Silver Sponsor/Contributor $300

  • Shared Hole Signage

Bronze Sponsor/Contributor $100

Special Recognition for Team, F&B, and Other Related Sponsors/Contributors

  • Recognition at Awards Luncheon

The Following Common Benefits Apply to All Sponsor/Contributor Levels:

  • Tax Deduction (less personal benefits)
  • Recognition on Post Web Site
  • Recognition in Players Handbook/Poster Display

    Note:     A company, business or individual making a donation will be classified as either a Sponsor or Contributor. A Sponsor is a donor of cash and a Contributor is a donor of goods and/or services equated to a cash value (i.e., prizes, silent auction items, raffle items, “goodies" bag items, gift certificates etc.). Contributors will be recognized up to the Gold level. Limit of one hole per Sponsor/Contributor.

Other Ways You Can Give:
If you prefer, we could use your help with the donations of items for Prizes, “Goodies” Bags, Raffle, and Silent Auction, e.g., gift certificates/cards, golf equipment/paraphernalia, recreational equipment etc., or any in-kind contribution (cash and/or prize). We will recognize all contributions be they large or small.

For cash contributions make your check payable to the American Legion Memorial Golf Tournament and mail it by April 27, 2012 (or sooner) to:
